Description

Museum Mysteries was a collaborative project initiated by Kauffman Museum on the campus of Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. Children met with a local elementary school teacher and writing expert to brainstorm and write riddles and text for the book. Inspiration came from exploring the museum and studying the shapes of objects in the exhibits. Campers attending the museum’s Uncle Carl’s Camp illustrated the riddles by creating paper images of the museum treasures described in the text. Older children attending camp designed the layout of the book’s pages.

To share the finished book and the intriguing mysteries of museums, Kauffman Museum partnered with Books for Life International to distribute this book to children and libraries around the globe.
