For more than 40 years Kauffman Museum has curated, designed and fabricated special exhibitions to share beyond our home in the central plains.

Our Reach

Our exhibitions have traveled across North America to 32 states and 5 Canadian provinces and have been displayed in local history museums, public libraries, colleges, churches, warehouses and a retirement center.

“A Day With the Birds” Receives AASLH Award

Kauffman Museum’s newest traveling exhibit, “A Day With the Birds: Community Science & the Audubon Christmas Bird Count,” has been given a 2025 Award of Excellence by the American Association of State and Local History (AASLH).

Encounter History, Science, Art and Culture through our Traveling Exhibitions

Kauffman Museum delivers a wide selection of content-rich, elegantly designed and affordable exhibits. Each exhibit topic is deeply researched and dynamically presented to promote multi-generational engagement and constructive community conversations. Our fabrication has been recognized for quality craftsmanship that prizes simplicity and authentic use of natural materials. Our exhibits feature well in a variety of settings: history and art museums, science centers, academic and public libraries, churches, colleges and universities, and community and cultural centers.

Our staff will deliver and guide you through installation to customize each exhibition for your space. Our innovative, free-standing modular systems can be configured for a variety of display spaces. Some exhibits fill spaces between 600 to 900 sf, while others flex from 1,000 sf upwards to 2,500 sf. Most of our exhibits incorporate their shipping crates to reduce the need for additional storage.

Upon booking, each host will receive access to a digital Press Kit, Marketing and Visual Identity materials, as well as Educational and Programming guides to support the exhibit. De-installation and removal transportation of the exhibit is complimentary to the host.

We deliver our exhibits throughout the US and southern Canada.
