Chasing Warblers
Bob Gress, director emeritus
Great Plains Nature Center, Wichita, KS
Bob Gress, accomplished photographer, author, and co-founder of BirdsInFocus.com, will offer a glimpse into the natural history of the Wood-Warblers family. With over 50 species in the United States and Canada, warblers tempt bird watchers with their bright colors and interesting antics, and in turn evade viewers with their elusive nature and small size. Unlike most programs about birds, this illustrated presentation is not about identification, but about the quirky and entertaining habits of one group of birds. Join us as we discover things we will never learn from bird field guides!
