Kauffman Museum hosted last Sunday’s Friends of the Mennonite Library and Archives program “Remembering the Vietnam Moratorium.” Ninety persons attended the open-mic time where people shared reminiscences of the 1969 Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam–the October activities at Bethel College and the November march on Washington, DC. Both times, Bethel College students tolled a bell from the museum collection to signify the deaths of the over 40,000 Americans in the war in Southeast Asia.
