The 33rd Annual Living Endowment Dinner is a very special evening at the Kauffman Museum. The night begins with an apple cider reception and time to view the current special exhibition K is for Kansas: Exploring Kansas from A to Z. Dinner will be served among the museum exhibits. The guest speaker, Denise Sherman, Executive Director, the Kansas African American Museum, in Wichita, Kansas, will give a presentation titled The Kansas African American Trail: Connecting Across Kansas!
Denise Sherman began as director of the Kansas African American Museum in 2018 and has been instrumental in the continuing development of the Kansas African American History Trail project. She will share the stories of African Americans and their journeys, contributions and legacies that shape the great state of Kansas.
