SUMMARY:First Saturday Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Our First Saturday Bird Walks depart from the kiosk in the museum parking lot for a mile-and-a-half hike through Chisholm Park and along Sand Creek Trail. Be prepared for some unpaved/steep terrain and summer weather. Binoculars and a bird book are recommended but not required. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome but should be able to remain quiet so they don’t scare away the birds! \nFree and open to the public.

Museum Director Andi Schmidt Andres will make comments at 3:00\, recognizing lead donors and the exhibit team. Next week\, museum staff will begin preparing the exhibit to travel to its first off-site venue\, the Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History in Corpus Christi\, Texas.
