DESCRIPTION:Behind the Mask 1 & 2 will be combined and held June 8-12. The camp will be held virtually starting at 9:00 am with a daily interactive meeting\, pre-recorded instructions on the day’s project\, online references\, and time to check in with the teacher. All supplies and a t-shirt will be distributed prior to camp. There will be an online art show at the end of the week. \nWho in the world wears masks? Campers will explore cultures that make masks and the ceremonies of those cultures. Native American traditions and the influence of the African culture on today’s American celebrations\, such as Mardi Gras in New Orleans\, will provide ideas for mask making projects.
